Papaya Playa is a small resort with 80 habitations, restaurant and bar on 600 meters of beautiful beach front property. Located in Tulum, on the Yucatan Peninsula, Papaya Playa is nestled among trees overlooking the white sand coast of the Caribbean. Papaya Playa caters to the guest seeking an alternative to big resort vacations. The resort’s restaurant, bar and cabañas are surrounded by tropical plants and white sand walkways, creating an informal and naturally beautiful retreat. Papaya Playa’s goal is to provide a relaxing and enjoyable environment with minimum environmental impact. Papaya Playa can book several activities for guests, including ocean reef dives, cenoté or cave dives and snorkel tour packages. The name Papaya Playa comes from the abundance of papaya trees on the resort’s grounds.
