Minister and marketer team up to launch television show and fund homeless shelter.

When the Reverend Robert Lacy decided to build and launch a homeless shelter in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he sought resources on the Internet. Two of those resources were Internet marketing authority, Willie Crawford, and Joint Venture Broker, Gina Gaudio-Graves. Together they are on the verge of making Internet marketing history.

Lacy is a chef and cookbook author, who turned to fellow soul food cookbook author Crawford for innovative marketing and fundraising techniques. They decided to conduct a "fire sale" of software, ebooks, and digital products to launch the television show and "kick start" raising funds for the homeless shelter.

Lacy has long dreamed of opening several homeless shelters. The homeless population of Baton Rouge, Louisiana increased substantially after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Crawford , Gaudio-Graves, and Lacy rallied the efforts of the Internet marketing community to help with this fundraiser while also benefiting Internet Marketers by offering several thousand dollars worth of bargain basement supplies to use in their businesses.

Gaudio-Graves recently said, “With two talented chefs, both cookbook authors, on our team, we’re looking forward to launching a successful television cooking show that will eventually go nationwide, and even be syndicated in certain overseas markets. The television show will drive traffic to our website where we will offer a variety of consumer goods ranging from our own line of spices, to cookbooks, to branded cookware, etc. Long term, this will allow us to help a lot of homeless people.”

Crawford and Lacy are two of the principles of White Dove Press which organized the fundraiser. Gaudio-Graves is a Vice President of White Dove Press. Lacy is also the founder of White Dove Ministries. For more information on the Kick Start Mega Sale, contact Rev.
