Ground Control Championship Taking Place at Reliant Arena in Houston, TX, Set to be Biggest Grappling Competition in Texas History
On November 4, 2006, the Ground Control Championship will feature some of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/Submission wrestling athletes in the world. Along with divisions for men, women, juveniles and children, this prestigious event will host several superfights featuring some of the top national and international talent.

This one of a kind event will take place November 4, 2006, at the prestigious Reliant Arena (www.reliantpark.com) in Houston, Texas. This event will offer divisions in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling. These divisions will consists of numerous categories including those for men, women, teens and adults of all skill levels.
All grappling styles are welcome to participate including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling, Sambo, Submission Wrestling, etc. Along with the regular divisions, the GCC will host several super fights, featuring some of the best grapplers on the planet. Among them will be Marcelo Garcia, Braulio Estima, Rafael Lovato, Jr., Mike Fowler and many of the top national and international athletes. This will also be the first official rated (www.grapplingratings.com) grappling tournament in Texas.
Beautiful awards will be given to all competitors who place in the top three and all advanced gold medalists will receive athletic gear from Gameness Fightwear(www.gameness.net).
Regardless of outcome, every child competitor will receive a participation award.
