First Location-Based Social Networking for Crisis Management Conference Makes New Connections

The Carbon Project is pleased to announce that they will sponsor the world’s first Location-Based Social Networking (LoSoNet™) for Crisis Management Conference. The conference will be held at the prestigious Sheraton National in Arlington, Virginia, on Tuesday October 3, 2006.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) August 8, 2006 -- The Carbon Project is pleased to announce that they will sponsor the world’s first Location-Based Social Networking (LoSoNet™) for Crisis Management Conference. The conference will be held at the prestigious Sheraton National in Arlington, Virginia, on Tuesday October 3, 2006.

The LoSoNet conference will provide a forum to connect the world of social networking with location-based information. The conference will focus on innovative methods and best practices to achieve situational awareness for defense and homeland security programs that are in compliance with an all-hazards approach to meeting the nation’s goals for preparedness.
