Ms. Downs began writing in the seventh grade and never stopped. She considers her novels Young Adult Fiction with a twist. She likes to encourage and support creative talent in youth and is currently a mentor in the Little Owl Mentoring Program. She shares a home with her husband, Steve, and a talkative Tabby cat named Sweetpea in Phoenix, AZ.

The mission of Gemini Mojo Press is to support, engage and inspire the imagination of young adults. It offers novels for teens and also publishes novels by teens, ages 13-18.
