Phd Graduate From Capella University To Present At APA Convention August 10

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) August 11, 2006 –- Jeffrey Baker, a 2005 PhD graduate from Capella University, an online university and leader in online education, will present his dissertation research at the 2006 American Psychological Association (APA) Convention in New Orleans on August 12. His paper, “Extended Testing Time and GPA for College Students with LD,” will be part of a session titled “Issues Related to Adults with Developmental Disabilities.”
Baker holds a PhD in psychology with a specialization in educational psychology from Capella, a master’s degree in counseling from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Regents College. He is a trustee of the Learning Disabilities Association of New York State, and former consultant, board member, vice president and president of the Learning Disabilities Association of the Genesee Valley. He is also a member of the American Psychological Association.
“It is an honor to be able to present to my peers at the APA convention,” Baker said. “I'm looking forward to sharing my research with them, and learning from the research they have done.”
The 2006 APA convention is being held August 10-13 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
