New manager brings extensive experience in employee benefit plans audit.

Goldstein Lewin & Co. Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kenneth Siegel to Audit Manager. Mr. Siegel previously served as Audit Supervisor for the firm. In this new role, Mr. Siegel will provide leadership on various audit engagements.

Prior to joining Goldstein Lewin, Mr. Siegel spent seven years at an international accounting firm in New Jersey. He was co-chair of the firm’s employee benefit plans audit division responsible for the audits of 401(k) and pension plans.

“The Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) holds plan administrators legally responsible to ensure that their employee benefit plans financial statements are audited in accordance with mandated standards. A quality audit not only helps to protect the assets and financial integrity of a plan but also provides reliable information to better manage and administer the plan,” states Mr. Siegel.

Mr. Siegel’s auditing experience encompasses private, public and not-for-profit companies across a wide range of industries, including, manufacturing, construction contractors, pharmaceutical, and franchisers. He received an MBA degree in Accounting from Rutgers University and is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
