Presto Convenience stores to offer self service kiosks for bill payment and other financial services.

TIO Networks Corp., owner of North America’s leading automated bill payment and financial services network, (TSX-V:TNC), and Tranax Technologies, a leading developer of ATMs and self-service kiosks, today announced that it would begin to deliver new self-service automated kiosks to Presto Convenience Stores.

“There is a tremendous opportunity for retailers to develop bill payment and other financial services for the non cash customer,” said Hamed Shahbazi, Chairman and CEO of TIO Networks. “Self-service kiosks increase customer satisfaction and transactions and reduce convenience store costs. Customers can operate the machines 24/7 as simply as they might an ATM machine. These kiosks are a win-win situation for all involved. We are delighted that Presto Convenience Stores, one of the largest resellers of ConocoPhillips products and services, will be among the first to install them.”

“Tranax Technologies is investing heavily in the self-service market,” said Dr. Hansup Kwon, President and CEO of Tranax. “We believe it offers retailers and other business the ability to serve their customers better, faster and in more ways than ever. TIO Networks offers a strong sustainable business model for resellers and franchisees as well as a fully-supported range of financial services. TIO also has a strong track record in selling and supporting retailers. We are delighted to partner with them and Presto Convenience Stores.”

TIO Networks and Tranax demonstrated their stand alone self-service kiosk and ATM hybrid models at the Conoco Phillips Conference this week in Orlando. These kiosks allow customers to receive cash, pay bills and buy pre-paid cards all from the same machine.

Tranax was recently selected by market researchers, Frost & Sullivan, for its impressive growth strategy as “the premier provider of ATMs to the Merchant Retail Market”. The entrepreneurial company was selected “based on the company’s ability to provide a high-quality, high-value-added, low cost solution in a highly competitive marketplace,” says Frost and Sullivan. Tranax has sold 70,000 of its high value, high reliability Mini-Bank Series of ATMs and self-service machines.
