New Product Breaks Heat Barrier in Police Vehicles; Barrier Blaster Aids Law Enforcement and the Public

Complete Cruiser Cooling, Inc. has announced the launch of a product to aid Law Enforcement organizations and the public they serve. The Barrier Blaster is an inexpensive multi-functional ventilation system that extends cool air flow into the back partitioned area of police arrest vehicles as well as the extended areas for canine officers.

Loxahatchee, FL (PRWEB) August 12, 2006 -- Complete Cruiser Cooling, Inc. has announced the launch of a product to aid Law Enforcement organizations and the public they serve. The Barrier Blaster is an inexpensive multi-functional ventilation system that extends cool air flow into the back partitioned area of police arrest vehicles as well as the extended areas for canine officers. The system, according to company owner Jennifer Goobeck, has the added capability to cool expensive vehicle-based electronic equipment such as laptops. This patented product was developed in response to complaints of extreme heat in partitioned police vehicles and to ensure important law enforcement tools as well as canine officers are kept cool.

Developed by Ken Goobeck, a former K-9 handler who has been in Law Enforcement in South Florida for 24 years, The Barrier Blaster can help reduce the greater than 30 degree difference that has been found between the front and rear partitioned areas of police vehicles. According to Mrs. Goobeck Company studies have shown that temperatures can easily reach 100 degrees in a partitioned vehicle. With this kind of extreme heat, it’s no wonder Law Enforcement organizations have heat-related liability concerns. The Barrier Blaster can help alleviate these concerns and the costs associated with them.

Partitions are understandably important for the safety of Law Enforcement officers. With most partitions made of steel and plexiglass, however, little air circulates resulting in the extreme temperatures Mrs. Goobeck noted. “It is hard enough to cool a vehicle with no rear air conditioning,” said Mrs. Goobeck, “now imagine how hot it can get with a partition blocking almost all of the airflow to the back seat area. It’s a medical emergency waiting to happen during the extreme heat experienced by most of the country this summer. The heat can even be a contributing factor in a death of a person who has been placed in these conditions, especially if person already had elevated body temperatures due to any number of medical conditions or drug use.” The Barrier Blaster helps stabilize the temperature in the back partitioned area minimizing the risks associated with heat.

Throughout his years in Law Enforcement Mr. Goobeck has seen the effects of extreme heat in the rear of partitioned vehicles. Departments invest a lot of money in their K-9 units and they are an essential part of Law Enforcement -- even considered part of a department’s police family. It is extremely important to maintain a cool environment for these important dogs especially after extended outdoor work.

“We can help Law enforcement agencies to be pro-active rather than reactive, by helping prevent a potential problem before it happens,” concluded Mrs. Goobeck.
