Ohioedge Releases CRM+BPM Server Edition 7.0
Ohioedge has released its CRM+BPM Server Edition 7.0, now available for download at http://www.ohioedge.com. Ohioedge is a J2EE 1.4 based open source CRM + BPM server, specifically developed for organizations requiring multi-level, multi-functional coordination of work generation and fulfillment activities.
(PRWEB) August 13, 2006 -- Ohioedge CRM+BPM Server Edition 7.0 is a complete overhaul of user interface - re-written to meet scrip-less, JSTL 1.2 standards. Another key improvement is that the data transfer beans are made "lighter" by separating them out from business delegates. In addition, the kernel is upgraded to manage data transfer object relationships, defined in component definitions.
This release was a major effort in upgrading source to meet J2EE 1.4 standards. It has also opened up further performance improvement opportunities such as, keeping data transfer object graphs in different scopes (page, request, session, application), etc.
Ohioedge CRM+BPM Server edition 7.0 is also the first release as a part of Ohioedge Quality Initiative. Each business use case now has a corresponding test case. The JMeter test suite is also distributed with the code.
Work on the next release has already begun. Ohioedge announced that the primary focus of its next release would be to meet JSR 168 compliance and enable web services. Please visit http://www.ohioedge.com for details.
