The “tattoo culture” has a strong following and growing appeal, as demonstrated by the success of recent cable network shows like Miami Ink and Inked. Now tattoo owners and artists worldwide can get in on the action by showing off their latest designs by submitting tattoo photos and the stories behind them at the new and free community at, launched this month.

The new tat-oriented site is dedicated to digging deeper than simply the skin art, by allowing site visitors to upload photos of their tattoos and share the story behind the design or why they chose to get inked in the first place. Whether a community member got their latest tattoo done of a favorite celebrity, or even in memory of a deceased loved one, the stories are welcome, and all submissions and viewing of the tattoo gallery are free.
