The Laff House and the Inverse Reading Series Start Nightly Live Downloads at Sunset-Live.com
Sunset-Live signs two live download distribution deals this week with the Laff House for live comedy downloads and with Inverse Reading for Live Spoken Word and Poetry Downloads.
(PRWEB) August 15, 2006 -- Sunset Records Group corporate Chief, Don Lichterman, announced two live download deals at Sunset-Live Entertainment. Comedy live downloads will now be made available nightly from the world famous Laff House Comedy Club on South Street in Philadelphia. Spoken Word, Poetry and Acoustic Music will also be made available at Sunset-Live.com as live Downloads as part of the INVERSE READING SERIES every month. The LAFF HOUSE and SUNSET-LIVE will feature professional comedians, new talent and even some open mic nights.
These live shows will be made available every night after every their respective shows at Sunset-Live.com. Lichterman says that "these live downloads will be featured at our label partner sites for exclusives runs before hitting the rest of the Internet's popular download sites like NAPSTER, AOL, YAHOO, etc." eSunset's Philadelphia A&R representative, Scott Glassman points out this is the "first of its kind" in the live download marketplace. "We will also be making popular comedian acts into Ringtones which is very exciting to everyone involved in this project."
Although the live download medium is fairly new, the companies will have ringtones, digital downloads of individual bits and comic tracks and Lichterman mentioned creating physical cds from these performnaces. The entire live show, plus the artists CDs will be distributed digitally at eSunset and its partners iTunes, eMusic, REAL/Rhapsody and Sony.
Sunset-Live.com will also begin to release the catalog from the Laff House vaults which include live performances by international acclaimed comics KEVIN HART, DEON COLE, MARK SIMMONS, DENNY LIVE and expect live video download feeds from THE LAFF HOUSE and from the INVERSE READING SERIES starting this month. Lichterman finishes the press statement by adding that he "loves the Laff House brand" and that he also "loves working with unique projects."
