Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) August 15, 2006
Aliant Financial Services, one of the country’s leading providers in electronic payment services, has recently announced they will be giving business owners a Free Gift Card Program (http://www.freegiftcardprogram.com) with service for life of their account. Merchants or business owners will have to process their credit cards with Aliant Financial Services to receive their Free Gift Card Program.
Working with what you've got! Aliant's Free Gift Card Program works with many standard industry credit card terminals, credit card machines and payment processing terminals.
Aliant Takes Away the Fees:
As with any program there are fees involved: fees to sign up, fees to process, fees for the program. Aliant has now taken all the fees away, and not just for an introductory time period, but for the life of your merchant account. It’s the only free gift card program in the electronic payment industry. It provides the merchant with the ability to grow and expand their sales and profits without the variable expense of discovering whether it’s cost effective.
In an interview with Dyson Barnett, VP of Aliant Financial Services, we asked him about the new Gift Card Program, “Aliant Financial is giving this program to businesses and retail merchants because we want to increase their sales, customer loyalty and profitability. We believe business owners this holiday season will have more sales from this program and have a competitive advantage.”
What is a gift card?
A Gift Card is a store branded private issued card that stores a value that a consumer purchases from the business. Gift Cards work very similar to credit cards, there is a host somewhere that identifies the cards value and the business that issued it. A simple download gives your credit card terminal software to track when you issue, sell and redeem gift or loyalty cards.
Gift cards in the past couple years have surpassed paper gift certificates from $6 Billion to its current estimate of over $75 Billion a year in revenue. As a consumer, you have seen them everywhere, as a merchant, have you been utilizing the advantages of displaying them? Traditionally, merchants have sold gift certificates for pre-sales of goods or services. Filling out the paperwork for the gift certificate, then when redeemed, either filling out another gift certificate or giving the cash value of the remainder. Accounting systems became more convoluted with the introduction of redeemed gift certificates, and then came the idea of a gift card.
Gift cards are more like a pre-paid credit card. It has a stored monetary value held within the card, swiped through a credit card terminal, and the value is redeemed at the point of purchase. Once the gift card has been processed, the funds are deposited along the same lines as a credit card merchant account.
Aliant Financial Services, Develops business for business owners for free. On top, on the mark, and the only one providing free gift card programs to increase sales for your business: Aliant Financial offers more to their merchants than any other service provider in the country. Our research shows that their programs are amongst the most aggressive in the nation. The competition, from their rates and programs, have proven to be more interested in taking profits and earnings from their merchants, instead of providing the merchant with services and valuable tools to help build and increase the merchants wealth and profitability. Finally, a company that understands how to do business, the simple component we’ve been looking for, going back to the 50’s with a new age technology, which has come to fruition in Aliant Financial.
