Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association Recognizes Member's Life Saving Action

Two off duty NYPD detectives rescued a drowning man at Candlewood Lake near Danbury, CT.

While on a family outing with fellow NYPD detective, James McSwigin, the two heard the desperate cries of help from another family on the Candlewood Lake near Danbury, Connecticut. They then proceeded to rescue Mr. Raul Gomez who was drowning. Detective Keeley is also a Special Agent with the Coast Guard Investigative Service of the Department of Homeland Security.
