New Airport Security Restrictions Cause Dry Skin Solid Lotion Bars Offer an Alternative to Travelers

Share Article

New security restrictions released by the TSA prohibit travellers from bringing liquids on commercial airliners. This includes liquid skin lotions and moisturizers. Solid lotion bars provide travelers with an alternative.

The air on commercial jet liners can be dry, leaving skin dry and irritated. Frequent travelers will often carry small amounts of lotion in their carry on luggage. Unfortunately, new regulations issued by the Transportation Safety Administration prohibit liquid lotions on commercial jetliners.

Fortunately, there is an alternative: Solid moisturizing lotion bars. Lotion bars come in a variety of sizes and shapes. They are typically the same consistency as lip balms.

The following information is located on the TSA website.

“You are permitted to bring solid cosmetics and personal hygiene items as such lipstick, lip balm and similar solids. Please remember these items must be solid and not liquid, gel or aerosol.”
