A Twist of a Different Kind Links International Arts and Film Foundation With the Real Estate Market

An arts-focused 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation works to promote the arts in communities throughout North America via Write 4 Your Home '07 Contest. Five will win a beautiful home in sunny Florida while helping youth and the arts.

Reno, NV (PRWEB) August 19, 2006 -- While real estate prices languish, the International Arts and Film Foundation (IAFF) has unveiled an innovative way to aggregate funds in support of targeted programs for youth and the arts. A contest of skill -- "Write 4 Your Home '07" -- allows anyone, regardless of educational background or writing ability, to have a reasonable opportunity of securing a home for themselves by writing a 500 word or less essay.

Write 4 Your Home '07 is a vehicle that can help fulfill the American Dream of home ownership, while at the same time, provide an innovative approach to funding Youth and Arts programs. To meet its goal of awarding one house per 7,500 registrants to a maximum of five homes, the IAFF is seeking a total of 37,500 registrants. The contest is expected to be available through November 1, 2007.

Registrants can feel good not only about the possibility of home ownership using their writing and imagination skills, but also because in so doing, they are helping IAFF fund much needed Youth and Arts programs in communities throughout the country. Not a raffle or other type of game of chance, entry into the contest is made available by providing the registration fee of $100 U.S. dollars or the equivalent thereof in any major currency via the IAFF’s Web site at www.TheIAFF.org. In English, Spanish or any other main language, entrants will provide their ideas about how best to bring together arts and youth.

Prospective registrants must be at least 18 years of age. Although the entry fee is non-refundable, it is tax-deductible. All residents of the U.S. and Canada, excluding the providence of Québec or any other country or state forbidden by local or federal laws 18 years or older can participate (see official rules for full details).
