DisAbility News Radio Lands Exclusive Interview with Josh Blue

Josh Blue, comic with CP who has won the hearts of thousands, makes time for special interview on DisAbility News & Views Radio. Josh embraces the opportunity to break down barriers through humor.

Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) August 23, 2006 -- When the host of DisAbility News & Views Radio, an internet talk show focusing on disabilities, contacted Josh Blue's manager for an interview, she hoped there would be a response.

A day later, Monica Moshenko, parent, advocate and creator of the online talk show, was thrilled to hear that Josh would be available for an interview on the show. It is apparent that Josh wants to make sure that the disability community knows he is there to bring awareness about CP and sees this as a great opportunity for him to create more awareness about disabilities through comedy.

Josh spent time with Monica answering questions about plans and the crazy hectic schedule he has since winning NBC's Last Comic Standing 4. Monica is a mother of a son with Asperger Syndrome, a high functioning form of autism who created DisAbility News & Views Radio out of need. She said, "There aren't any programs consistently focusing on the topic of disabilities in media, so I started my own talk show."

Josh spoke of his plans, the upcoming "shortest" parade in Denver, and his good friend, Carlos Mencia and his signature "headband."

Josh said, "I am enjoying the outpouring of love and it feels great." Blue knows that winning the title of the Last Comic Standing provides a great platform to educate America about disabilities by making them laugh about it. He said, "he is just having fun, that is the beautiful thing about it."

Josh knows the importance of having a supportive family too. Josh revealed during the interview that his mom is from Tonawanda, New York, a surprise to Monica, who broadcasts the show a few miles away. Josh has a very busy schedule the next year performing at clubs and colleges across the country, along with a special on Bravo, a CD, new DVD and possible sitcom on NBC.

The interview is streaming online for people to access along with information about Josh. Monica and her son Alex hope that because of the WNY connection that Josh will be performing here soon. Josh also a talented soccer player has not only won the Last Comic Standing 4 but has won the hearts of thousands young and old for a long time. As Josh says, "let the revolution continue."
