IPIFF Kicks off Inaugural Fest with Free Premiere Film, and Art Event
The Idaho Panhandle International Film Festival (IPIFF) will kick off its first fest by adding a free sneak preview event of the quirky comedy, “The Trouble With Dee Dee”, Wednesday evening, August 23rd, at 8PM at the historic Panida Theater in Sandpoint Idaho, in conjunction with the Arts Alliance event “Party Behind the Panida”.
SANDPOINT, ID (PRWEB) August 19, 2006 -– The Idaho Panhandle International Film Festival (IPIFF) will kick off its first fest by adding a free sneak preview event of the quirky comedy, “The Trouble With Dee Dee”, Wednesday evening, August 23rd, at 8PM at the historic Panida Theater in Sandpoint Idaho, in conjunction with the Arts Alliance event “Party Behind the Panida”.
This will be the West Coast premiere of “The Trouble with Dee Dee”, which stars Lisa Ann Walter (The Parent Trap) as a Dee Dee Rutherford, socialite heiress who fails to conform to her fathers (Kurtwood Smith, Red from ‘That 70’s Show’) wishes for her to act more mature. What he doesn’t know is she has something up her sleeve. An adventure that takes you on a wild roller coaster, “Dee Dee” is sure to entertain. Rated PG-13 due to language.
Entry to the film is free, and those planning to attend should get in line early to get a seat. This is not a festival pass event.
In addition to the free film, you can stroll just behind the Panida Theater from 6-10PM for a free event hosted by The Arts Alliance, featuring a photo slideshow by Woods Wheatcroft, interactive poetry in motion, live music, a beer garden and food.

Weskils (Located in the theater building at 300 N. First Ave.) Or, you can buy a walkup ticket before a block begins from the ticket box for $10 (Walkup tickets are NOT being sold for the Awards Ceremony). 10-25% of your ticket sales will be given directly to the Panida Theater.
The Idaho Panhandle International Film Festival is a four day event held in Sandpoint, Idaho at the Panida Theater featuring nearly thirty hours of films and special presentations, culminating in an awards presentation. 2006 will be the inaugural year for IPIFF.
