Your personal data is valuable. Your data is in demand. Your private data is everywhere. Secure Your Data With the BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro, now at a lower price of $99.95 –- now with applications to secure the host PC from Comodo.

iQBio, Inc. http://www.iqbio.com (a subsidiary of the security firm Artemis Solutions Group) http://www.artemis-usa.com announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement to distribute Comodo Security Group’s http://www.comodo.com PC Security Suite free of charge to each customer that purchases its BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro 1GB biometric flash drive. To coincide with this announcement, iQBio is also lowering the price of their secure BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro 1GB biometric flash drive from $129.95 to a groundbreaking price of $99.95 available through http://www.clipbio.com and through their growing network of international distributors, resellers and solutions providers.

The BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro 1GB biometric flash drive was introduced in May of 2006 to great reviews and fanfare. Now iQBio is substantially increasing the value proposition of the ClipBio Pro by offering a complete suite of security products to secure the host PC – FREE for life through their partner Comodo.

This suite of free desktop security solutions valued at over $200.00 (with no subscription or renewal fees) includes:

  •      Firewall – rated an Editor’s Choice by PC Magazine
  •     VerificationEngine – the anti-phishing solution that authenticates web content
  •     Anti SPAM – uses challenge/ response technology to clear inbox of SPAM
  •     E-Mail Certificates – allows you to digitally sign and encrypt emails
  •     Back-Up - utility that allows users to quickly and easily create backup copies of critical files.

Numerous Government regulations including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and other Federal, State and Local laws regulate the secure access to ANY individually identifiable data held by healthcare professionals, employers, banks, financial institutions, brokerage houses, businesses and just about every other type of entity that stores or uses this data.

“There are heavy financial penalties and even prison time involved for breaches of personal data privacy regulations (or so we are told). Yet no one at the Federal or State level is holding any person or organization accountable for their unbelievable incompetence with regard to their stewardship of private data. Believe me when I say that your data is out there, it is valuable and it is readily accessible. Please secure your data! Our BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro 1GB biometric flash drive represents one of the best values for securing private data. Each ClipBio™ Pro fingerprint biometric flash drive secures your portable data with a swipe of your finger.” States James Childers – CEO of iQBio.

In a classic “don’t let this happen to you” example of what seems like a daily onslaught of security breaches, the University of Kentucky announced in June of this year that a faculty member in the School of Human Environmental Services reported a USB flash memory drive was stolen from his office. The most shocking revelation about this theft was that he believed this drive contained the records of up to 6500 present and former students that enrolled in his courses from 1988 through 2006.

Unbelievable as it sounds, the Professor was allowed to acquire and archive the names, class rosters, grades and even more frightening the social security numbers which the university was using as a student identifier for his students for almost a twenty year period. This information coupled with data readily available from any Internet search engine or phone book comprises everything that an identity theft criminal needs, and all of this extremely personal and valuable data was left on an unsecure flash drive no larger than the size of a pen.

The non-profit group Identity Theft Resource Center, a national non-profit organization that focuses exclusively on identity theft, based in San Diego, CA (http://www.idtheftcenter.org/breaches.pdf) has identified at least 139 incidents so far in 2006 that have been disclosed, potentially exposing more than 35 million individuals to identity theft through the negligent storage and transport of private data.

“Combining sophisticated biometrics into portable devices with best of breed desktop security provides substantially increased security to the management of portable data” said Melih Abdulhayoglu, President and CEO of Comodo. “This approach is well aligned with our strategy of incorporating prevention and detection technologies within a truly user-friendly holistic model that focuses on customer satisfaction. This solves a real customer need and helps promote greater security.”

The BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro 1GB biometric flash drive provides consumers with the latest in biometric technology to secure data, while allowing the user to securely control access to their private data with a swipe of their fingerprint. Using advanced encryption methods and a secure biometric algorithm to authorize user’s access, this flash drive optimizes functionality, security and price. To secure the host PC, Comodo is delivering a FREE suite of applications with each BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro. Consumers may purchase the ClipBio Pro directly from iQBio at http://www.clipbio.com or through many authorized iQBio Resellers world-wide.

As a developing part of its distribution strategy, iQBio is actively seeking solutions providers that specialize in the areas of personal and corporate security with which to partner in distributing and integrating the BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro and other secure products offered by the company to their clients. iQBio has been developing an active reseller channel within the USA, Canada, Europe and the UK incorporating specialty distributors, resellers, solutions providers, academic and retail.

Bret Griffith, Director of Channel Development for the Americas states “The BioCert® ClipBio™ Pro and other unique, relevant security solutions offered by iQBio offer a substantial 'value proposition' for small, medium resellers and specialty solutions providers with an expertise in security.”

A focus for iQBio is the expansion and development of its network the UK and EU marketplaces. Mr. Duncan Preen, Director of Channel Development for the UK and EU for iQBio’s subsidiary company BioCert iQBio Metrics, LTD (UK) http://www.iqbio.eu states, “The plug-and-play ClipBio Pro represents a dramatic improvement in secure portable storage devices. We have enthusiastic resellers and distributors in the EU and UK that are already showcasing these solutions to their customers and actively soliciting orders.”
