The International School of Hospitality Introduces the Online Wedding Coordination & Design Certificate Program

Introducing a comprehensive online Wedding Coordination & Design Certificate program designed to increase the level of professionalism in the industry. This program integrates online training materials with projects and support from professional wedding planners to create a unique learning experience.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) August 21, 2006 -- The International School of Hospitality (TISOH) is proud to introduce a new online certificate program in Wedding Coordination & Design, announced Timothy Lam, Director of The International School of Hospitality.

Based on extensive industry research and with the goal of increasing professionalism in the wedding planning industry, this program aims to create a legion of competent professionals well-versed in the intricacies and ethics in wedding coordination and design.

The online Wedding Coordination & Design Certificate program is comprehensive, and appeals to both new entrants as well as established veterans. It is designed to provide participants with a foundation of knowledge in wedding planning and the confidence to succeed in the industry. Graduates are prepared for careers as independent wedding consultants, employment as planners with hotels/resorts and special event companies, or for positions with allied businesses.

The program consists of PowerPoint presentations, instructor notes and handouts to supplement the textbook material. Each participant will work on a project consisting of planning 4 complete weddings: traditional, non-traditional, cultural and destination. The project will ultimately serve as a sample of best practices and also as a portfolio of the participant’s work. Complete templates field tested by wedding professionals are included for use. Each participant is assigned a principal instructor who will be available via email and telephone for the duration of the course.

“A Certificate from TISOH opens doors to graduates looking for careers or advancement opportunities in wedding planning and allied industries. It is a clear demonstration of a candidate’s initiative, drive and interest,” said Patricia Norman, CMP, Academic Director of TISOH. “We’re excited to be one of the very few schools offering a quality program specifically designed for this industry”.

The online Wedding Coordination & Design Certificate program is available to participants located anywhere in the world. Classes start monthly.
