The rules have changed for women that fly. New airline restrictions recently imposed by the FAA and the TSA make it difficult for women fliers who are used to carrying-on their personal belongings... including makeup. "These new restrictions are are a burden that only a woman can really understand". "A large majority of women that carry their makeup when flying, apply their makeup during the flight and at their destination" says Maryann Velardi owner of Natural Look Permanent Makeup, LLC. and permanentcosmeticmakeup.com ."Women are afraid that they will have to hurry to baggage claim and rummage through their suitcase before they meet their party at the final destination".
Weeks before the flight the individual can have a "travel consultation" to get her individual travel beauty check-list. "It's never too early to prepare for the unexpected" says Velardi. Ms. Velardi's advise should bring a certain sense of calm in an uneasy world. Ms Velardi is a pioneer in the field of permanent cosmetic makeup and is a beauty consultant in both New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
No liquids, hairspray or makeup in your carry-on?
Well, here are four pre-flight beauty tips for carry-on free women
1. Keep eyes glistening for hours with long lasting lubricating tears that last your entire flight.
2. Keep hair neat and tidy . Blow hair out straight with leave-in conditioner to prevent knotting. Use hair spray on roots for fullness.
3. At high altitudes with less ventilation and oxygen, skin can get pretty dried out. Solution: Drink plenty of water before flight and use an oxygenated cream.
4. Most Important! Keep makeup on without having makeup on-board! Solution...Permanent Makeup.
