Busi-Bee.com Website Quality of Service Report for Monday, August 21st, 2006

Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Overstock.com (NASDAQ: OSTK) provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.304%, while Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 91.659%

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 22, 2006 -- For this report made on Monday, August 21st, 2006, Busi-Bee.com took 18400 samples from the websites of Overstock.com, Cisco Systems, Google, LookSmart, Best Buy, and Amazon.com during the entire day of Sunday, August 20th, 2006, and analyzed the data to compile the following results in order of best QoS to worse, precluded by an overall summary as follows;

Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Overstock.com provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.304%, while Amazon.com had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 91.659%

Overstock.com has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.304%. The best response hour was at 1am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080362 and 0.634146 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1pm with latencies of 40.082825 (we consider this unreachable) and 2.233187 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.040 with a mean latency of 0.870 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.

Cisco Systems has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.043%. The best response hour was at 4pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.058290 and 0.283940 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 11am with latencies of 35.174677 (we consider this unreachable) and 2.786145 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.734 with a mean latency of 1.313 seconds, we consider this reasonable site delivery consistency for the day.

Google has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 98.871%. The best response hour was at 8pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.056756 and 0.120462 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1pm with latencies of 40.089634 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.919431 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.721 with a mean latency of 1.109 seconds, we consider this good site delivery consistency for the day.

LookSmart has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 98.000%. The best response hour was at 9am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080113 and 1.423203 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 11am with latencies of 30.391743 (we consider this unreachable) and 2.785594 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.268 with a mean latency of 1.332 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.

Best Buy has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 97.913%. The best response hour was at 6am with minimum and average latencies of 0.013561 and 0.856664 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 11am with latencies of 40.094946 (we consider this unreachable) and 2.850141 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.047 with a mean latency of 1.255 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.

Amazon.com has provided their site users with what we deem as reasonable quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 91.659%. The best response hour was at 4pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.080456 and 0.922936 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 3pm with latencies of 35.081819 (we consider this unreachable) and 2.372349 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.397 with a mean latency of 0.881 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.
