Hybrid Management has established a strong reputation as a practice and case management consulting firm, serving chiropractors and others in the healthcare community. It has now been acquired by the Healthcare Business Division of ACOM Solutions, Inc., which provides automated professional and business solutions for optimizing healthcare offices. As senior consultant, Bharon Hoag is responsible for marketing and managing Consulting Group services.

Our experience in bringing new technology approaches to the healthcare market identified a pressing need for greater knowledge about business practices

The Healthcare Business Division of ACOM Solutions, Inc. has established a practice management consulting group with the acquisition of Hybrid Management, Inc. and the appointment of its principal, Bharon Hoag, as senior consultant, it was announced today by Division Vice President Gregory T. Church. Hoag will be responsible for building out and managing the consulting group as well as for marketing and delivering the group’s solutions suite.

“The mission of the ACOM Healthcare Business Consulting Group is to educate, empower and equip chiropractors and other members of the healthcare community to build and maintain highly effective and profitable practices while delivering the optimum level of care,” Church said

“In his professional career at Hybrid Management and prior to its formation, Bharon has demonstrated an extraordinary grasp of the intricacies and requirements of practice success – on both the professional and the business sides – earning an exceptional reputation in the chiropractic community that can be extended to other disciplines as well.”

The ACOM Healthcare Business Division is now comprised of two independent but complementary groups. The Technology Group is the developer and marketer of the RAPID EMR clinical notes and reporting solution and the RAPID EPM enhanced practice management solution. The Business Consulting Group provides an array of services that ranges from specialized activities such as coding and compliance counseling to analysis and implementation of broad-based business management optimization processes and solutions.

“There are obvious areas of mutuality between the groups and where RAPID EMR and/or RAPID EPM systems can apply productively in a consulting client’s operations, they will be recommended,” Church said. “However, the group retains the option to impartially recommend any systems and tools that it feels best meet the need of the consulting client.”

According to Church, the group’s activities will continue and extend the methodologies established under Hoag. Among these are on-site and phone-based consulting services, analysis and evaluation of existing systems, best practices research and implementation, and building and/or modifying existing operations around individual practitioners’ vision and purpose. Areas of concentration include, among others:

  •     Communication Techniques
  •     Billing and Coding
  •     Documentation
  •     Insurance Verification
  •     Payroll and Benefits Administration
  •     Staffing Guidelines
  •     Overhead Reduction
  •     Marketing.

“Our experience in bringing new technology approaches to the healthcare market identified a pressing need for greater knowledge about business practices,” Church said. “Doctors rarely leave their professional training well-equipped to be both healthcare providers and business managers. While our technology solutions help to bridge that gap, it became obvious that we could also serve the field by bringing to market a complementary, comprehensive suite of consulting services that would help healthcare practitioners to institute best practices in their professional and business affairs. We were extremely fortunate in locating an established company with a strong and well-regarded principal who was willing to join the ACOM team.”
