WAY Systems' Chief Marketing Officer Named to Industry Association's Technology Committee

George Devitt, Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for the payment systems industry's fastest-growing wireless POS provider, has been named to the Electronic Transaction Association's (ETA) Technology Committee. The ETA is the payment industry's flagship organization.

It was announced today by Will GrayLin, CEO of WAY Systems, a leading provider of wireless card payment systems, that the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, George Devitt, has been invited by Joe Kaplan, president of ETA, to join the organization’s Technology Committee.

The Technology Committee is responsible for identifying current and emerging technology-related issues and assisting with communication on these issues to the membership. The committee provides information on technology trends and applications to ensure that ETA is established as a valued information source for members and the industry. The committee uses appropriate methods to disseminate information related to new products, services and payment applications.

The term for Devitt’s appointment is one year, beginning July 1, 2006.
