ACB assists Toyota in the successful launch of the 2006 Toyota Dealer Advertising Covenant Program.

The Toyota Dealer Advertising Covenant Program (TDAC) is designed to ensure that dealers uphold an advertising standard that continually promotes and enhances the image of the brand and is built on a foundation of full disclosure and high ethical standards.

In order to assist Toyota in meeting these program goals, and to encourage and support dealer advertising, ACB designed, created and distributed communication kits to all dealers and field personnel prior to program start up. Program guidelines, Quick Reference Guides and training materials supplied critical program information. ACB is positioned at the hub of the program, assisting dealers in developing compliant ads, communicating program objectives and providing rapid turnaround on prior approval requests to simplify the dealer advertising process.

The development and implementation of a sophisticated web portal coupled with comprehensive program information served to make this program launch a proven success. “ACB’s unique and upgraded web application allows for intuitive navigation through the site and encourages program participation,” said Ted Lee. The TDAC Compliance web based system provides an efficient method for dealers to submit and review pre-approvals for their advertising.

The growing emphasis on high quality retailer advertising that effectively promotes and enhances brand image, has resulted in an increased focus on implementing Advertising Compliance Programs. ACB’s partnership with Toyota, in the management and administration of the TDAC program, assists dealers by providing an efficient and simplified method for ensuring high quality advertising. ACB’s expertise in monitoring print, broadcast and web based advertising supports both retailers and manufacturers through the provision of a post audit to ensure continued compliance.
