New e-tailer Challenges e-Bay
With e-Bay having just increased their costs to existing sellers, particularly store owners, ShopSpot.com.au is the new e-tailing shopping centre that is more affordable and caters to the selling needs of those customers that e-Bay 's new fee's will affect the most.
Narre Warren, Victoria (PRWEB) August 24, 2006 -- ShopSpot.com.au was conceived by Vaughnn Brooks and is designed to open up new markets to a wide range of buyers for those businesses that sign up for a “shop” lease.
“From just $60 per annum, a business can lease a “shop” at the ShopSpot.com.au e-shopping centre. This site can be linked to from each businesses own web site and can be set up to have an individual look similar to that of their own site. It is a very inexpensive way for both small and large businesses to be part of the e-tailing generation. A shop can include as many products as they have in their range,” Mr. Brooks said.
Offering sellers a low cost alternative to places like E-bay, or setting up their own e-tailing shop, ShopSpot.com.au allows sellers the option to expand the capability of their existing website, by linking to a virtual shopping centre. Each “shop” will have their own access to an administration section giving each owner control of their “shop”.
Mr. Brooks has been running his own business, “The IT Crew” for several years and saw what was happening with e-Bay and seized the initiative to fast track the opening up of his e-tailing shopping centre, previously planned for later this year, a system that is easy to use for both buyers and sellers.
“For buyers, it will be just like going to their local Westfield or Centro Shopping centre, except they will be able to shop from the comfort of their own home, saving time, car parking hassles, crowds AND MONEY,” Mr. Brooks said.
ShopSpot.com.au has been nominated for the prestigious Net Guide Awards for the Best Australian Websites, in the Best New Web site category.
“ShopSpot.com.au is rapidly growing although there are still some “shop” leases available. I would suggest that businesses that want to be part of the ShopSpot.com.au Shopping Centre contact me at 03 9704 2891 or visit our website www.ShopSpot.com.au
