Proactel, an executive recruitment company operating throughout Latin America, and Hogan Assessment Systems, a firm that provides personality assessment tests for employee selection and development, have announced a partnership that expands the international scope of each business.
The partnership with Proactel is the sixth international distributorship formed this year by Hogan. In addition to Hogan’s partnership with Proactel, it has expanded the representation of its assessment tools and reports in 2006 to Iceland, Kenya, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Proactel, based in Miami, has offices in Chile, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico. The company specializes in human capital solutions, including executive level selection, development, and HR consultancy in industries such as media, entertainment, telecommunications and technology.

Data from the inventories produce reports with recommendations for hiring and development. Reports, delivered through the company’s Web-based platform, are available in more than 20 languages, including Spanish.
Tests that Proactel will use include the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), which predicts how individuals will perform in a job on a day-to-day basis; the Hogan Development Survey, which assesses 11 patterns of behavior that can derail a manager’s career; and the Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory, which reveals a person’s core values and drivers. More than one million adults have completed the HPI for pre-employment screening purposes.
