Personality Test Publisher Adds Sixth Partnership This Year
Proactel, an executive recruitment company operating throughout Latin America, and Hogan Assessment Systems, a firm that provides personality assessment tests for employee selection and development, announce a partnership that expands the international scope of each business. The partnership is the sixth international distributorship formed this year by Hogan.
Tulsa, Okla. (PRWEB) August 23, 2006 -- Proactel, an executive recruitment company operating throughout Latin America, and Hogan Assessment Systems, a firm that provides personality assessment tests for employee selection and development, have announced a partnership that expands the international scope of each business.
The partnership with Proactel is the sixth international distributorship formed this year by Hogan. In addition to Hogan’s partnership with Proactel, it has expanded the representation of its assessment tools and reports in 2006 to Iceland, Kenya, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Proactel, based in Miami, has offices in Chile, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico. The company specializes in human capital solutions, including executive level selection, development, and HR consultancy in industries such as media, entertainment, telecommunications and technology.
“We already maintain a vast network of candidates in the U.S. and Latin America,” says Luisa Guzman, Proactel’s managing director. “Now, Hogan Assessment Systems’ products and services will help us enrich that network and be even more precise in helping our candidates find the jobs that fit them, and helping companies find the best candidates for their jobs.”
Guzman said Hogan was chosen because of the reliability, technical quality and predictive power of the company’s assessments as well as its reputation in the United States for studies that validate the use of the assessments.
“We have performance data for more than 400 job titles, and we have archival research data spanning more than 25 years that show that our inventories predict job performance,” says Bill Monrose, director of international operations for Hogan. Data from the inventories produce reports with recommendations for hiring and development. Reports, delivered through the company’s Web-based platform, are available in more than 20 languages, including Spanish.
Tests that Proactel will use include the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), which predicts how individuals will perform in a job on a day-to-day basis; the Hogan Development Survey, which assesses 11 patterns of behavior that can derail a manager’s career; and the Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory, which reveals a person’s core values and drivers.
