Shot-Online Announces GNGWC 2006 North American Winners

Shot-Online announced today the winners of the Game N’ Game World Championship 2006 North American tournament. The event took place on Saturday, August 19th at the Internet PC Café from 12 pm until 6:30 pm.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 24, 2006 -- Shot-Online announced today the winners of the Game N’ Game World Championship 2006 North American tournament. The event took place on Saturday, August 19th at the Internet PC Café from 12 pm until 6:30 pm. The tournament consisted of seven gamers competing with each other for the title of Shot-Online Game N’ Game North American Champion for 2006.

Nhat Nguyen from Springfield, VA finished in the top spot after the six-hour tournament concluded. “Halfway through the last game I knew I was going to win,” stated Nhat when asked at what point in the competition he thought he might take the top position. He also added, “Once I kept getting pars and birdies it was easy.” Nhat and the three gamers who finished in positions two through four will be flown to South Korea to compete for the honor of being named Shot-Online Game N’ Game World Champion for 2006. The champion will receive $10,000 for this accomplishment.    

The winners and their final rankings for the Shot-Online GNGWC North American 2006 Tournament are:

1st Place: Nhat Nguyen from Springfield, VA
2nd Place: Ken Morse from Abita Springs, LA
3rd Place: Mike Davies from San Bernardino, CA
4th Place: Jeff Canners from Clovis, CA
5th Place: Randy Herrera from Daly City, CA
6th Place: David Craig from McKinleyville, CA
7th Place: Jared Pletz from Portland, OR
