Mydeo, the video streaming company, is delighted to have made the finals of the Start Up Awards 2006. Mydeo was selected from over 450 entries and is now a finalist competing in the ‘Best Use of Technology Awards’ sponsored by Blackberry.

Mydeo allows users to upload and globally stream videos to friends, family or potential customers without surrendering their ownership rights, or exposing their personal footage to the vast gaze of the Internet community.
Cary Marsh, Mydeo’s Co-Founder and Managing Director, comments: “It’s been a great 12 months of video streaming for Mydeo; we’re now used by over 50,000 people in 180 countries with partnerships with Microsoft, Orange and Tiscali. To win the NatWest Start Up Award sponsored by Blackberry would be a fitting tribute to the team for all their hard work.”
