Homeless Emergency Project (HEP) Helps Tampa Bay Citizens Get Back On Their Feet
Tampa Bay businesses, like PostcardMania, work to help the Homeless Emergency Project help citizens in the Tampa Bay area who really need it.
Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) August 28, 2006 -- Since the Homeless Emergency Project rolled out their B.I.N. (Bring Items of Necessity) project on June 1st, several Tampa Bay businesses have collected food, clothing, toiletries, linen, cleaning supplies and an array of necessary everyday items to help H.E.P. clients. Last week, HEP received an abundance of nice clothing and brand new shoes for children and adults, a very large amount of school supplies and other miscellaneous items including gift certificates, accessories and home goods.
Nelson Media Research and PostcardMania are two companies that are going the extra mile to assist HEP. Nelson’s facility in Oldsmar donated eight very large boxes of supplies while PostcardMania donated the design, printing and mailing services of 12,000 postcards to the Clearwater Community Volunteers for their annual Fashions with Flair fundraiser where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to HEP.
“I love working with organizations that really help mankind – HEP is that kind of organization” said PostcardMania’s Founder and CEO, Joy Gendusa.
