The Telecom Intelligence Group Cracks Asia-Pacific Market
Real-time global tariffs data to include Chinese, Asian focus.
Beijing, China (PRWEB) August 23, 2006 -– The Telecom Intelligence Group announced today plans for the expansion of its business in the Asia-Pacific region, starting with the opening of an office in Beijing, The People’s Republic of China, during fourth-quarter 2006.
The expansion activities will include: establishing an Asia-Pacific market-analysis and an inquiry-support function in Beijing, building out the group’s state-of-the-art global end-user research panel and adding a greater Asia-Pacific dimension to existing products.
The regional push will be led by John Lilley, who adds this responsibility to his existing role as manager of the group’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). “It’s an exciting opportunity to build on the success of The Telecom Intelligence Group in North America and EMEA with our market-leading brands Tarifica, TelecomTactics, InfoTech and TelecomWeb,” he says. “By having a strong local presence in the region, we will be able to work more closely with our equipment manufacturer, regulator and service provider clients as well as to bring greater Asia-Pacific insight to our research findings.”

In a separate move, global tariffs consultancy Tarifica will be moving forward with a radical change of its tariff update procedure, allowing new tariff information to be uploaded to The Telecom Intelligence Group Web site in real time. Previously, updates had been made on a monthly and a quarterly basis.
