Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 24, 2006
For the third consecutive year, NetQoS® Inc., a provider of network performance management products and services for Global 2000 enterprises, has been named to Deloitte’s Texas Technology Fast 50 Program, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the state. Sponsored by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services organizations, the rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2001–2005.
NetQoS increased revenues 3,347 percent from 2001 to 2005, resulting in a number seven ranking in the Texas Technology Fast 50. The average increase in revenues among companies who made the Texas Technology Fast 50 list was 2,225 percent.
“To be recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing companies in Texas for the third year in a row is a gratifying tribute to our employees, who develop and market the network performance management products and services large organizations need to optimize their networks,” said Joel Trammell, NetQoS CEO. “We are rapidly expanding our workforce and building the customer and partner relationships, both nationally and internationally, needed to sustain our growth.”
“Sustaining high revenue growth over five years is an exceptional accomplishment. We commend NetQoS for making the commitment to technology and delivering on the promise of market longevity,” said Skip Moore, Regional Managing Partner, Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “We are proud to honor NetQoS as a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 winner for the third consecutive year.”
To qualify for the Texas Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in Texas, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies’ technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
Winners of the 16 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies. In 2005, NetQoS ranked number 31 on the Fast 500 list. For more information on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 or Technology Fast 500 programs, visit http://www.fast500.com.
