RateItAll.com Adds Commenting Feature
RateItAll lets users comment and rebut individual reviews.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2006 -- Online social network and review community RateItAll.com today announced that it had introduced a feature that allows any RateItAll member to comment on or rebut any review on the site.
Posted comments appear directly below the body of the review, and RateItAll members can comment multiple times on any review. The publisher of the review earns a share of the advertising revenue associated with the page.
“One of the big draws of the RateItAll community is the ability to get instant feedback on your opinions and writing style,” said RateItAll President Lawrence Coburn. “This commenting feature joins existing features such as helpful votes and user testimonials as ways to give and receive feedback.”
RateItAll recently modified its site architecture to provide each review with its own URL. This adjustment has enabled a number of new features such as revenue sharing on reviews, the ability to email reviews to a friend, and the ability to comment on specific reviews. Additional related features, such as the ability to “favorite” a specific review, are planned.
“We’ve long considered RateItAll to be the equivalent of a lightweight blogging platform,” said Coburn. “Adding a commenting feature to our ratings engine was a logical next step in our evolution.”
