Beacon Street Girls Offer New Online Friendship Bracelet Game for Preteen Girls

New friendship bracelet game for preteen girls is the highlight of the Beacon Street Girls' revamped website just in time for back-to-school, when kids are thinking about reconnecting to old friends. The new site features the preteen stars of the award-winning book series and online community, and new games designed to highlight the BSG’s focus on friendship.

Lexington, MA (PRWEB) August 28, 2006 -– Girls everywhere can send their friends virtual friendship bracelets from the Beacon Street Girls. The BSG’s revamped website http://www.beaconstreetgirls.com features the preteen stars of the award-winning book series and online community, and new games designed to highlight the BSG’s focus on friendship. The site has been undergoing a total transformation which allows girls to visit each character and uncover new insight into the character’s private life beyond the award winning book series.

“With summer rapidly drawing to a close and back-to-school looming, girls are starting to think about reconnecting with old friends and making new ones,” said Addie Swartz, founder and CEO of B*tween Productions, home of the Beacon Street Girls. “The timing couldn’t be better for a friendship focused online game.”

The new game is called "Charlotte’s Friendship Bracelet." http://www.beaconstreetgirls.com/MeetTheBSG/CharlotteRamsey/MyGame/tabid/58/Default.aspx The beading and message puzzle was developed so girls could sit down at Charlotte's virtual desk and string a bracelet for a friend using a set of lettered beads. Girls can select from different style beads -- Venetian, African, glass, and Charlotte's personal favorite, Parisian – to spell out a message.

After the message is complete, the message is scrambled and sent to the friend. The friend receives the empty bracelet string and a pile of lettered beads. The challenge is to see if they can restring the bracelet to read the secret message. They can make their own bracelet message and send it back, or send it on to another friend.
