The Virtual Travel Cast, the daily blog of the UK, web-based travel agent, http://www.holidayoffers4u.co.uk, is giving away a brand new, shiny, iPod Nano 2GB MP3 player, as the prize in its "Most Infuriating Product" Contest.

Tired of using products that don't quite do the job and suffering with "indestructible" packaging that can often do the purchaser actual physical harm, the Virtual Travel Cast Blog has announced a contest to find the "Most Infuriating Product" its' readers suggest.

Contestants should email the Virtual Travel Cast Blog with their nominations, their reasons why their chosen product or packaging is so "infuriating" and some photographs to illustrate their point.

The contest is for "product concepts that are a great idea in theory, but somehow don't quite perform the stated purpose," or "packaging that becomes a barrier, a hindrance or poses a real danger in accessing the actual product."

The closing date is 15th October 2006 and the winner will be chosen and announced on the Virtual Travel Cast Blog on the 20th of October.

All the "Infuriating Products" nominated will be on display on the Virtual Travel Cast Blog.
