December’s Rose, llc announces their entry into the Open Stock Photography world.

By hosting the image galleries of several photographers, December’s Rose, llc is able to create some of the most beautiful note cards, prints and posters available on the web. Today they are announcing an additional service for both artists and potential buyers of original images.

Through their new Stock Photography Licensing programs, they are increasing their exposure, as well as the exposure of the work of their photographers, in a venue with vast market potential. The licensing of images has always been a way for both individuals and businesses to gain access to the work of professional photographers. The internet has helped to make that connection easier and literally opened up a world of possibilities.

While competition is stiff, the management of December’s Rose, llc feels that they have something unique to offer – personalized service for both buyers and sellers. “We pride ourselves on staying connected to our customers”, says CEO Barbara Cost. She goes on to say that delving into the Open Stock (Royalty Free and Rights Managed) forum was the next logical move for her company. “We host our own images as well as the images of other photographers. We feel very strongly that we offer some unique images not currently found anywhere else. Whether the need is personal, commercial or for advertising, we feel our images will add value to any project. We are a small player in a very large community, but big does not always mean better. We think we will bring a good opportunity to the artists who sign on for this service, as well as for the individuals and companies who chose to license our images.”

Photographers can opt to make their images available just for licensing or for use in the other high quality products that December’s Rose, llc produces. Each photographer retains the copyright to their work. Stringent measures are taken to insure that image licensee’s adhere to the agreement that they commit to when they register with the company. “The goal is to provide a service while protecting the rights of each artist”, adds Barbara Cost. She goes on to say that they take copyright infringement very seriously and will take all necessary precautions to avoid those types of problems.

In addition to stock photography, note cards, prints and posters, the company also offers seasonal note cards for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas. Both retail and re-seller pricing is available. They also sell several types of calendars.

Through on-line advertising, regular mailings and a newsletter, December’s Rose spreads it’s message. Their website is updated constantly with new images and design elements to make browsing or shopping a pleasant experience. They can be found on the web at
