Hurricane Ernesto Emergency Communications Now Available for Overnight Delivery

If you have not yet ordered your emergency communications for Hurricane Ernesto then time is running out, but it is not too late yet.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2006 -- All Road Communications http://www.allroadcommunications still has limited amounts of Satellite Phones for rent or sale, which can be delivered ahead of Hurricane Ernesto.

"If you order your satellite phones today we can deliver by tomorrow morning" said All Road's Chris Hoar.

As Hurricane Ernesto becomes Tropical Storm Ernesto the National Hurricane Center (noaa.gov) reminds us that it will most likely return to Hurricane status by morning. A State of Emergency is already in effect for Florida, and the Florida Keys are facing evacuation.

"Satellite phones work when cell phones don't, they are independent of the power grid too. Hurricanes tend to take out cell towers and power lines leaving satellite phones as the only viable means of communication in such a situation. This year we have even rented satellite phones to some of the cell phone companies, to help them communicate when their towers are down" he said.

"Ordering now is vital because when Hurricane Ernesto is approaching the weather will ground planes and cause long delays for shipping companies. We predict that we will still be able to deliver satellite phones to the Gulf Coast as late as Wednesday morning this week, but after that it will become harder. We have distribution points in Florida and Texas, and they will be able to make late deliveries to many areas, but we are recommending that you order as early as you can to guarantee delivery' said Hoar.

All Road Communications is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All Road offers satellite phones for sale or rent from Iridium and Globalstar, plus mobile satellite internet from Inmarsat.

"It is amazing to us how many people and local authorities still do not have this kind of equipment as we approach the Hurricane Katrina Anniversary. We want people to understand that in many cases they will be on their own if the worst happens, and having a satellite phone could well save their lives."

Order a satellite phone now by calling 1-888-884-7623 or online at http://www.allroadcommunications.com
