T-Shirts Nominate Dead Presidents For 2008 Election
Deceased US Presidents raised from the dead by t-shirt company to run in 2008 Presidential election.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 29, 2006 -– Wicked Cool Designs, a new division of online retailer WickedCoolStuff.com, today announced it’s newest nominations for the 2008 Presidential Election – “The Zombie Presidents”. Knowing the national discussion is soon going debate who would make a great leader for the coming presidential election, they are releasing a series of campaign t-shirts featuring ‘undead’ past leaders running for office again.
“It’s all in fun,” says WickedCoolStuff.com CEO Brett Dewey, “the political debate is going to be pretty heated, and we’re trying to inject some playfulness into the debate.” The shirts suggest that a re-animated and re-elected Abraham Lincoln, JFK, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan may be just what the country needs.
The stunning images have been created by Hollywood horror and science fiction movie artist, Mark Tavares. Each image is an original artistic representation of what the America’s past leaders would look like if they returned came back today as Zombies. Wicked Cool Designs debuts this new line at the MAGIC fashion trade show this week at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
About The Artist
Mark Tavares’ life-long passion for science fiction and horror films worried his parents, but eventually led him to Hollywood, where he thrived as an Special Make-up Effects artist. For eighteen plus years, he has designed and created character make-ups, dead bodies, and all manner of creature effects for such films as "Dances with Wolves", "From Dusk 'til Dawn", "Pulp Fiction", "Little Nicky" (in which he also played a demon), and George Romero's "Land of the Dead". Naturally, his parents are still worried.
