Computer Masters of Kansas City Joins BNI
Computer Masters join the ranks of Business Network International in the Kansas City Northland.
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) August 30, 2006 -- Computer Masters, LLC, Masters of Information Technology and the regions best and most unique technical support firm, announced its membership & participation in a local BNI (Business Network International) chapter. Computer Masters Founder, Mike Cleveland, will become an officer of the chapter and assist in forming this new group in the Northland Kansas City area.
“Joining BNI is nothing but beneficial not only to Computer Masters, but to every member in the chapter,” said Mike Cleveland, Computer Masters Chief Technology Officer. “Most businesses believe that affiliations with groups like BNI are a waste of their time. We feel that building personal & business relationships in groups like BNI can benefit all involved, and is very important to growing businesses. When business referrals are passed to other members, because of the relationships inside the chapters, we can count on the members to provide excellent services to our referrals, and likewise; being an active participant in BNI gives Computer Masters an edge that most local technology companies overlook & underestimate.”
Computer Masters is the exclusive technology member in this BNI chapter. BNI chapters allow only one company to become a member per industry, and meet weekly.
About BNI (Business Network International) Business Network International (BNI) is an international business referral organization. BNI was founded in America in 1985 by Dr. Ivan Misner. It operates internationally and in 2006 has over 4,700 chapters in 30 countries. It is predicated on the principle of "Givers Gain" - by making business referrals for your chapter members, they will do the same for you. BNI is now the world's largest referral organization with Chapters in many countries around the globe. It was started in 1985 by Dr. Ivan Misner, one of the world's leading experts in networking and word-of-mouth marketing.
Dr. Misner was a management consultant when he started BNI. He worked with companies that needed assistance in the area of strategic planning and organizational development. As a business consultant, he received most of his business through referrals. However, he was not satisfied with the types of business groups that existed and he put together a networking group that he felt was structured, focused on doing business, and had an emphasis on positive reinforcement and support. That organization became BNI. Today, BNI has thousands of Chapters world-wide with tens of thousands of members passing millions of referrals.
