According to Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Director of Outreach, Barry Neighbors, registrations are building quickly for the upcoming Supplier Summit Videoconference that will take place on September 20, 2006. “Significant changes are taking place in the industry that impact supplier companies and their future viability. Registrations to date suggest suppliers are eager to learn how changes will affect their organizations - and provide new business opportunities.”
Neighbors also points out that, "As new programs such as Joint Strike Fighter and Boeing 787 ramp up in the defense and commercial sectors, we are aggressively trying to reach every supplier to help them to prepare for new requirements that may well surprise everyone in our industry.”
The Videoconference will be broadcast September 20 from 7:00 am – 9:00 am PDT to numerous locations across the country, easily accessible to supplier executives.
The Supplier Summit Videoconference will feature a panel of executives from a diverse range of supplier companies who will discuss critical challenges facing the U.S. supply chain. Panel members include Brad Hart of Roberts Tool Company, B.J. Schramm of Hitco Carbon Composites, Andy Koeck of Pankl Aerospace Systems, Cristi Cristich of Cristek Interconnects, and Chet Claudon of CONAX Florida Corporation.
Panel members will discuss dramatic changes in how their customers operate and how those changes are affecting their respective organizations. They will address how the bar has been raised and what new capabilities are now needed to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Panelists will also share their experiences in implementing the SEA Lean Enterprise System and what they see as clear differences between the SEA Lean Enterprise System and other approaches to continuous improvement. In addition, these supplier executives will share how they are now able to generate more new business. The panel will respond to questions from videoconference participants as well.
