Sartomer Names J.H. Calo Company as Wingtack® Resin Distributor
J.H. Calo Company, Westbury, N.Y., is the newest distributor of the Sartomer Wingtack® resin line. Sartomer acquired the tackifying resin line from Goodyear in 2005.
EXTON, PA (PRWEB) August 31, 2006 –- Sartomer Company today announced that J.H. Calo Company, Westbury, N.Y., has been named the newest distributor of its Wingtack® resin line. Sartomer acquired the tackifying resin line from Goodyear in 2005.
J.H. Calo will be responsible for distributing Wingtack resins in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The company also distributes Sartomer’s Norsolene resins.
Wingtack resins are used in a variety of pressure-sensitive and hot-melt applications and are manufactured in Beaumont, Texas. Sartomer’s Norsolene resins are used in zero-VOC hot melt adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, coatings, inks, and rubber applications. They are manufactured in Houston, Texas, and Carling, France.
J. H. Calo Co. Inc. is an independently owned distributor of chemicals founded by John Calo over 70 years ago and currently owned and operated by his daughter, Catherine Canavan. The company is an audited member of NACD, selling in the Northeast U.S.
