Ortiva Wireless Appoints Dave Desch as Vice President of Engineering

Industry veteran drives development of next generation mobile content delivery technology.

Mr. Desch will be responsible for building and leading the team that delivers Ortiva Wireless products. The Ortiva M-CDN is optimized for mobile networks and devices and dramatically improves delivery of mobile television, video, audio and Web browsing while adding additional revenue pathways.

Desch has a proven track record of building successful software development organizations and on delivering complex projects. He spent nine years at Sony Electronics, where he was responsible for building Sony’s Advanced Technology Center in San Diego, California. His teams have delivered multiple award winning products in record time, including delivery of Sony’s first HDTV from concept to product in ten months. Desch holds multiple patents in video streaming and content delivery technologies.
