Save $ on Alternative Medicine Conference as Deadline Approaches

Early registrants can take $6 off the $65 admission price for registering by January 10, 2007 for The Delaware Conference on Alternative Medicine to be held at the Chase Center on the Riverfront on Saturday March 31, 2007. Attendees can, for the second time, choose from a diversified panel of 10 well-known alternative practitioners from the area, to meet with these experts, and have their health questions addressed.

Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) September 4, 2006 -- The first of these Conferences held this past March was compared to a one-day college experience for people who have an interest in being well informed about their health care choices. According to David A. Dalby, architect, "It's very enlightening to hear from so many qualified professionals that there really are so many other options available to us that we simply would never know about without making an effort to learn on our own. These kinds of topics aren't discussed in most doctor's offices."

The ten speakers at the Conference are Dr. Robert Abel, ophthalmologist; Dr. Anthony Bazzan, integrative physician; Ben Briggs, compounding pharmacist; Dr. Sam Bogoch, cancer researcher; Shelley Epstein, certified veterinary homeopath; Polly Grimaldi RN, nutritionist; Lorna Lee, master of acupuncture; Dr. Kem Moser, biological dentist; Susan Silberstein, author and worldwide lecturer; and Alan Tillotson, registered herbalist.

Too often people mistakenly think that Alternative Medicine is something weird that is in competition with allopathic medicine. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. Alternative Medicine is a catchall term used to describe any modality that does not use pharmaceuticals at its base. The two actually compliment each other quite nicely. All of the doctors and practitioners above and those who spoke at the last Conference use it but time does not permit educating their patients about it during a routine office visit. That is why they have chosen to donate their time to speak at this Conference.

Topics to be discussed: Natural ways to deal with Aging, Animal Health, Chronic Fatigue, Cancer, Dentistry, Depression, Diabetes, Eye Care, Osteoporosis, and Women's Health as well as Alternative Healing Techniques such as the use of Herbs, Acupuncture, Detoxification, Nutrition, Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy and more…

The sponsor of this event, altmedangel.com, is a non-profit corporation offering free educational information on natural supplements and therapies, a list of physicians who use alternative treatments, a newsletter and book review section, great links pages, and a product guide.

Registration Forms can be printed from the web site. Exhibitors and volunteers are also being sought.
