Eyes On Fay Masterson In "The Crooked Eye"
"Eyes Wide Shut" actress Fay Masterson, who has starred opposite Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson, has begun shooting her next all-green-screen-film, "The Crooked Eye" in Hollywood, California. Veteran character actor D.C. Douglas takes on the writing and directing duties.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 5, 2006 -- Fay Masterson is set to star in D.C. Douglas's experimental film "The Crooked Eye", shooting this fall. Masterson plays both the unreliable narrator and victim in this psychological journey of envy and self-delusion. The film will shoot entirely on green screen, with technology similar to "Sin City" and "Sky Captain of Tomorrow", but focus more on creating the internal reality and emotional landscape of Masterson's character. The film is set for a Spring 2007 release.
Fay Masterson is known best for her work in "Eyes Wide Shut" and "Man Without A Face" opposite Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson, respectively. The film also stars Katherine Boecher ("Throwing Stars" with Jason London) and Joe Duer ("People I Know," opposite Al Pacino) as well as D.C. Douglas ("The Commission" with Martin Sheen).
D.C. Douglas, a veteran character actor best known for his recurring role on NBC's "Boston Common" (from the producers of "Will & Grace"), also wrote, directed and edited "Duck, Duck, Goose!" which played over 20 festivals internationally and won several awards including best film short in Seattle.
