You Too Can See Dead People at Upcoming Workshop with Psychic Investigator & Medium, Dr. Lauren Thibodeau
Dr. Lauren Thibodeau, Manhattan-based psychic medium and teacher, will lead a one-day workshop Saturday, Oct. 7. Based in part on her book, "Natural-Born Intuition: How to Awaken & Develop Your Inner Wisdom" (Career Press). Recently featured in Psychic Investigators on Biography/A&E, she also teaches weekly mediumship and intuition development classes in NYC.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 2, 2006 -- Psychic mediumship is all the rage these days, but according to Lauren Thibodeau, Ph.D., anyone can learn to "see dead people."
An author and nationally certified counselor, Dr. Thibodeau is hosting a daylong Natural Mediumship Intensive in Manhattan on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The workshop is open to all levels, but limited to just 40 participants and priced at $149. All experience levels are welcome.
"Mediumship is a natural ability based on intuition that all people possess to some degree. Seeing and sensing 'dead people' is actually very common; kids do it all the time. And it's part of the natural grief process, although it's often misunderstood," Thibodeau said.
Exercises in the Natural Mediumship Intensive workshop will be based on her book, "Natural-Born Intuition: How to Awaken & Develop Your Inner Wisdom" (2004, Career Press/New Page Books). Her next book, "Natural-Born Soul Mates: Resonance in Relationships" is due out next year.
"A one-day Natural Mediumship Intensive will not produce instant mediums. But everyone in the workshop will have at least one 'mediumship moment' and also receive many messages," Thibodeau, who teaches ongoing mediumship classes three nights a week in Manhattan, said.
Thibodeau, on the faculty in the transpersonal studies graduate program of Atlantic University, was recently featured in "Psychic Investigators" on Biography for her help on the 20-year-old 'cold case' of Margie Calciano of Brooklyn. She has presented intuitive intelligence programs to groups including police detectives, corporate executives and healthcare professionals. She's also performed standup about life as a psychic medium.
"Mediumship is really not about the other side. It's about learning to trust your perceptions using the validation feedback loop that mediumship provides," Thibodeau said. "Plus, it's fun."
