After a short beta-testing stint, goes full throttle as the newest online social network.

An Internet revolution is occurring within the jam community as MyJamSpace officially announces its new online social network, targeted specifically to jam bands, their fans and friends.

In what started as a beta site ( for a few friends in different parts of the country, the site has grown to over 500 members in just a few weeks of simmering word-of-mouth. The electricity in the new community can only be viewed as extremely contagious.

Community members are offered a myriad of communication tools. Helping to give a unique experience are member generated polls, shared pictures in a ‘battle’ for the best and user-friendly page customization. Recently expanded audio/video streaming, shout box and live chat features are growing in popularity, as well.

"We're working hard to take the jam community interaction to a new level," said Coul Mullen, MyJamSpace's founder. "The result is an exciting, user driven site, where jam lovers come to mingle."

Mullen is filling a niche supported by both established and developing bands. Burgeoning acts such as New Monsoon, ALO, Outformation and others have already taken advantage of the growing exposure on MyJamSpace.

“Music is the common denominator in many people’s relationships. From your college buddies to your girlfriend, music brings us all closer. We are just breaking down an initial door to establishing friendships and helping others keep in contact across long distances.”

As with most social networking sites, registration is free and revenue is generated by way of unique advertising. Instead of bombarding users with ads throughout the site as most web sites do, all the ads are on a single page where sponsors are able to buy affordable space by the pixel. In order to drive membership over the coming months MyJamSpace representatives will have a presence in select markets and venues this fall. More information on this first promotional tour can be found by visiting the web site.

Now is the time to get involved in the birth of The Online Social Network for Jam Bands with the sole purpose of sharing the energy, fun and free nature of music with jam lovers everywhere.
