Praxes Group has announced the addition of Henry Bliss to its team of experienced business development professionals. In his new role as Senior Business Development Strategist, Mr. Bliss will work directly with the firm’s clients in the Management, Strategy and Technology Consulting industries to help them achieve their growth goals.

Since 2005, Mr. Bliss has served The Parthenon Group, a leading strategic advisory firm, as a business development consultant. From 2004 to 2005 he held the position of Senior Product Development Engineer at Hussey Seating Company, North Berwick, ME where he designed and managed the development of several value-added yet cost-cutting enhancements to their Quattro and Metro seating product lines.
From 1987 through 2004 Mr. Bliss worked as a product development consultant for a wide variety of clients ranging from local start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies. His breadth of experience includes extensive work in medical and surgical instrumentation and procedures for Genzyme Biosurgery, Smith & Nephew, Boston Scientific, Hewlett-Packard and C.R. Bard; industrial automation equipment for NyPro's Automated Assemblies, Steag HamaTech's First Light Technology; instrumentation products for Idexx Laboratories, J&J, Abbott Labs, and consumer product's for BIC Pen, Kurzweill Music Systems and Stanley Tools.

Mr. Bliss holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design with Honors from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston and pursued Undergraduate Studies in Economics and History at Hobart College.
