CLUE Bar, a natural alternative to lowering cholesterol, receives the Health and Wellness seal of approval during September, Cholesterol Awareness Month

CLUE Bar (http://www.cluebar.com), the only bar on the market developed to help reduce cholesterol, gains momentum for the American Heart Association’s Cholesterol Awareness Month with a new “Seal of Approval” from the National Health & Wellness Club.

A test group of over 700 participants was selected to try CLUE Bars, the heart healthy bar developed to help reduce cholesterol. The bars were rated “good to excellent” by over 75% of members who tested CLUE Bars during the rigorous Product Testing Program. CLUE Bars received a score of 7.3 in overall quality (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being poor and 10 excellent).

CLUE Bars are cholesterol and trans fat free with 7 grams of protein, natural Omega-3 oils, complex carbohydrates, and are sweetened naturally with fruit juice. With only 180 calories per bar, CLUE Bars are packed with six cholesterol fighters. The all-natural, primarily organic ingredients include oats, soy protein, walnuts, raisins, chlorella, spirulina, and bee pollen. So without pills, without the side effects of strong medication, a CLUE Bar a day can help control cholesterol.

A few comments provided by Health & Wellness Club members during the evaluation of CLUE Bars include:

· “I love the health enhancing chlorella, spirulina, and bee pollen in a bar that tastes great.”

· “I like it that by eating one CLUE Bar a day for a month and watching my fats, that I can actually lower my cholesterol.”

· “What a delicious way to treat high cholesterol and avoid the side effects of strong medication.”

In 2002, Andy Gloor, the mind behind the bar, struggled with reducing his cholesterol. Diagnosed with high cholesterol at the age of 28, he was reluctant to commit to a lifetime of strong medication. He was amazed at the lack of natural alternatives on the market. After researching foods that reduce cholesterol he decided to build a bar that could include the ingredients that reduce cholesterol naturally. He developed CLUE based largely on soy protein, oats, walnuts, spirulina, chlorella, and bee pollen. He reduced his own fat intake, increased his exercise, and ate a CLUE Bar a day. In two months his cholesterol was down to acceptable levels where it has remained to this day.

CLUE is making life easier for their regular customers with the on-line CLUE CLUB, where you can place an order so that bars arrive monthly on your doorstep. For information on CLUE Bar or to learn more about the dangers of high cholesterol, call 1-888-LDL-DOWN or log on to http://www.cluebar.com.
