Warwick, UK: Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 12, 2006 -- The Process2006 conference is gearing up for the best program in the BPM Group’s 14 year history highlighted by presentation of the prestigious Global Excellence in BPM and Workflow Awards.
The Global Excellence Awards are now in their 17th year with the Gold and Silver Awards for this year’s winners to be presented on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at the Process2006 Conference.
Lead judge and BPM Industry Analyst Derek Miers commented on the strength of the entries, especially those from Asia and Europe. “With a wide range of industries represented, the critical importance of driving performance improvement through more effective management of the firm‘s business processes was plain to see. The case studies presented provide some compelling reading, and clearly demonstrate the growing recognition of business processes as core business assets.”
In judging, particular attention was paid to implementations that show BPM and workflow ex-tending beyond the corporate boundaries to support customers, suppliers, trading partners and more. The following list identifies the nominees from each region.
NORTH AMERICA - AIG Small Business, USA; Chester County Hospital, USA; Hasbro, USA; Noridian Administrative Services LLC, USA; Verizon Business Network Services Group, USA.
MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA - PaymentCentric, Jordan; TRACKER, South Africa.
PACIFIC RIM - Asia Vital Component Co. Ltd., Taiwan; KTF Co Ltd., Korea; Max New York Life, India; Satyam Computer Services Ltd., India.
PAN EUROPEAN - Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi, United Kingdom; Barclays, France; Modelo Continente Hipermercados, Portugal; Telenor, Sweden.
SOUTH AMERICA - Allianz Colombia BPM, Columbia; METROVÍAS, Brazil; Companhia Brasileira de Distribuição (CBD), Brazil.
“The array of finalists demonstrates the broad applicability of workflow and BPM technology – furthermore we see that there is still a significant amount of innovation occurring in the people-to-people deployments showing clearly that this type of solution is what the customers are looking for,” said Jon Pyke, WfMC Chair. “Workflow continues to be used to tie diverse systems together ensuring that information is delivered to the right place at the right time every time.”
This year’s conference agenda is the most extensive ever with over 40 sessions, 3 conference tracks, 6 tutorials, at least 11 case studies, presentations by WfMC, Bloor Research, BPMG and OMG - and the presentation of the Global Awards for Excellence in BPM & Workflow.
“Process2006 is the best event we have ever put together.” commented BPMG CEO Steve Towers. “Being able to include awarding of the Global Excellence Awards at the conference sets this event apart from all others in the past.”
The event will be held in London on September 19th and 20th at the Radisson SAS Portman Hotel (in London’s fashionable West End) with a tutorial day preceding the event on September 18th. For more information on the conference and for reservations please visit www.process2006.com.
