Manhattan Fitness Professional Offers Fitness Camp in Washington Heights

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 7, 2006 -- Katrina McKenna, fitness professional and owner of MetamorFitness, is offering a outdoor fitness class at J. Hood Wright Recreation Center in Washington Heights located near New York Presbyterian Hospital.

The class will start Monday September 11, 2006 at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM. This is a great way to improve your health and fitness without going to the health club, making fitness more fun and interesting.

Many people are bored with the gym and the typical workout options. An outdoor fitness camps provides great variety to your normal fitness routine. Plus it just is more interesting to workout outside.

There are other camps offered in New York City but none in upper Manhattan. Ms. McKenna thought that this was a service that was really needed in this neighborhood. Every neighborhood could use more health and fitness options.

Attendees will enhance their fitness levels, increase their metabolism, lose weight, and have a great time working out at a group. The benefits of the class include more energy, handling stress better, sleeping better and looking better.

The class requires attendees to pre-register and complete a thorough Health History form in order to be sure the class is appropriate for them, in addition to allow Ms. McKenna personalize the class for everyone.

Each class is 45 minutes and will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from Monday September 11, to Friday, October 6th. Participants can try a class for free, if there is space available.

Ms. McKenna wants to give everyone a chance to enjoy the fitness class but are afraid it is not for them. By offering a "try before you buy" it is a no risk proposition.

Be aware that each class is limited to 10 people each. After that anyone else who signs up will put on a waiting list. So anyone who wants to lock in their spot must hurry and pre-register now.
